Brookside Clinical Laboratory is a member of CLIA and NILA, and accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. We attend Infection Control Meetings and QAPI Meetings and ensure the highest accuracy and quality in our testing.

We’re comprised of various Departments in one central location. We employ experienced technologists, skilled mobile phlebotomists, and knowledgeable office staff. Our lab is open seven days a week to offer our clients optimum test result turnaround time.
In addition to General Chemistry, Specialized Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology, and Urinalysis divisions, we offer Molecular Diagnostic Testing (PCR) on site. Our instrumentation utilizes state-of-the-art technology on both internal and external testing platforms.

Our Commitment to Antibiotic Stewardship via PCR Testing

Our History
Brookside Clinical Lab is an independent full service clinical laboratory located in Southeastern Pennsylvania that has been in business since 1966.
Our founder, John J Iacono, opened an independent clinical laboratory based on the concept of offering exceptional diagnostic testing services to residents, Physicians, and Long-Term Care Communities in the Tri-State area.
Under the guidance of Mr. Iacono, Brookside Clinical Lab has evolved into one of the most reputable independent clinical laboratories in the greater Philadelphia area. We consistently utilize the most sophisticated instrumentation and cutting-edge technology to provide prompt, accurate and reliable test results to our valued clients.
Today, our staff is made up of skilled Laboratory Supervisors and Technologists, many of whom have been members of our Brookside Team for over 20 years. Our president, Annette Iacono is a former President of the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) and continues to be an active National Board Member of AAB and NILA. Annette’s association with both AAB and NILA dates back 25 years.
